Our Anniversary

Happy 7th Anniversary Richard!!!

7 years ago Richard and I said "I do" on the beach in Destin, FL. We had about 35 close friends and family with us and it truly was a great day! Since our scanner is not working I can't show off any of our awesome pictures from that day, so here is one from our beach trip last year. The last seven years have been wonderful and I can't wait to see how the next 7 years go. Thank you Richard for being such an amazing husband and father--I could not have asked for a better person to spend my life with!!

Sad Day

It is hard for me to believe that it has been 2 years since my dad passed away. We all miss him so much!! My mom has been so brave and strong during the last 2 years. I could not be more proud of her!! I thank God daily for her close friends who have made this time a little easier for her. I try to talk to the kids about Paw Paw everyday and Cooper always says he can't wait to get to heaven to see Paw Paw and get a big hug!!

Here is a picture of Cooper and Paw Paw that is one of my favorites. I have never seen my dad happier than the times he spent with Cooper!!

No Broken Bones

Yesterday was a crazy day for us. Our day started off normal...the kids slept till 9:00 (they do not do this everyday, but I love it when it happens), we ate breakfast, and then we played/watched a movie in the living room. Cooper had a spider man toy from a happy meal that he was sticking to the TV and then pulling it off. Well...the spider man must have REALLY strong suction cups on its hands because Cooper ended-up pulling the TV out of the built-in right on top of himself!!!! It was the most terrifying thing that has happened to us. The TV weighs at least 130-150 pounds and Cooper was trapped underneath it!! I was able to get the TV off of him, but I could not get him to stop crying or screaming. I was so scared that he was hurt really badly, so we called the doctor and were in his office getting x-rays about 20 minutes later. Thank goodness Cooper is fine--no broken bones, only a big knot on his head and a bruised and swollen arm. Cooper has had several scary accidents in the past and I am so thankful that God always protects him from a major injury.

Poor Richard--He was working in Conway when I called him to tell him what had happened, he was SO worried about Cooper that he quit what he was doing and actually beat us to the doctor's office in West Little Rock!! There is no telling how fast he was driving.

I can't believe it has been so long since I last posted. We have been busy with the end of the school year, Little Gym, dinner with friends, and trying to get ready for summer. We are going to Big Cedar and to the beach in June, so we are really looking to 2 fun vacations before Lucy gets here. I have my next ultrasound on May 27th and I am really anxious to make sure that Lucy is doing well. I am going to try really hard to post more often--hopefully I will have some new pictures to post next time.
