Halloween and Teeth

Halloween is so much fun here in our little neighborhood! Everyone goes all out on decorating and making sure the kids have plenty of treats! Emily and Lucy both had parties at school to celebrate too!

How cute is Lucy in this little pumpkin outfit?! Love it!

At Lucy's first school party she was Dora! So cute! (with her friend Luke the shark)

At the second party she was a bunny rabbit! She loved the ears.

Emily was the cutest little witch! Loved this outfit!

Then on Halloween Lucy was Superman. All 3 kids have worn this outfit for Halloween!

Emily decided to not wear her cute witch outfit...she wanted to be Iron Girl

And Cooper was super excited to be the guy from Scream...he had a special button he could push and blood would run down his face. Scary!!

The kids waiting to go inside and check out all their candy!

They wanted to eat it all right away....

A few days later, Cooper FINALLY lost his front top tooth! It had been very loose for a long time. We were so proud of him that he pulled it out all by himself!

And just for fun....here are all of my sweet babies wearing the Superman outfit. Cooper was 3 years old

Emily was a little over 2 years old

Lucy was 2 years old

I don't think Cooper and Lucy could look more alike!!

Family Pictures

We had some family pictures taken back in November. I love getting pictures made, but I have had a hard time finding a good photographer here in the McKinney area. The girl who took these pictures (Ms. Jenna) is Emily's teacher from PreK 4 last year. She did a good job! Cooper was 7, Emily 5, and Lucy 2.

Six Flags and the Ballpark

We went to Six Flags back in early October with the 4 of us (Lucy was at Miss Jill's) and the Brott Family. I do have to say that I have some brave kids! Cooper rode every ride he was tall enough for and was begging to ride the ones that he wasn't big enough for yet! His favorites were the Texas Giant and Titan. Emily was a little less brave than she was at Disney World, but she still rode lots of fun rides! I totally forgot to take pictures that day! We got season passes, so I knew I would have plenty of chances to get some good pictures.

While Emily was off visiting MawMaw at the end of October, we decided to take Lucy to Six Flags and see what she thought of it. She and Cooper had the best time! This was her first ride of the night. She kept making this cute face with her mouth open wide....

Pretty wild ride for a 2 year old!

Lucy really liked driving the old timey cars!

Cooper rode some of his favorite rides, but he was really sweet to ride all the ones that Lucy was big enough for too!

A hat the size of Texas!

It was such a fun night!!!

This picture is totally out of order, but I wanted to make sure I included it somewhere on the blog. We went with the Brott Family to a Rough Riders baseball game in Frisco one night right after school had started (probably sometime in September). The kids didn't pay much attention to the game, but it was a fun night. Here is a picture of the kids with the mascot.....

A Sleepover and Camping Out

Emily was so excited to have her very first sleepover!! She had her best friend Elyse stay the night back in September. I didn't take as many pictures as I should have to document the event. We started with dinner at McDonald's and then headed home for a bubble bath.

The girls all clean and ready for a sweet treat!

We had some yummy chocolate chip cookies........

and then a story and everyone was ready for bed! (we did this on a Friday night, so after a long week at school the girls were both really sleepy)

Lucy was just as excited as Emily was to have Elyse at our house!

It took them for ever to fall asleep!! And then at 1:30 in the morning I had both girls in bed with me because they were "scared". ( I think Emily was having trouble sharing her bed with someone, and she actually woke Elyse up to come downstairs with her! Aggghhhh!!) At least Lucy stayed in her bed all night! In the morning everyone was up very early ready to play....and head to the donut shop!

While us girls were busy with our sleepover, the boys went on a camping trip! Cooper has been begging to go camping so this worked out perfect! One the of the local churches had a father/son camp-out about 30 minutes from McKinney. Some friends went with them and they all had a great time!

Richard said there were a ton of people there!

Eric and Luke had all the camping gear and were so nice to share all their stuff with Richard and Cooper!

Sweet boys!

Eating S'mores!

First time for Cooper to sleep in a tent. (I think he looks a little scared)

After a good nights sleep, everyone woke-up and had a yummy breakfast and worked on their archery skills.

The boys had so much fun and are looking forward to doing it again!

September Fun

At least one night a week I decide we need a sweet treat! I am trying really hard to quit this tradition, but this night we made brownies (Lucy and Emily's favorite part is to lick the bowl!) Lucy looks like she got more on her face than she did in her mouth!

This was the morning of the first Razorback game of the year. I can't remember why Emily was crying (she is SO dramatic!!), but you can tell in the pictures that she was upset about something. Richard loves when the whole family dresses-up to cheer on the Hogs!

Cutie pie in pig-tails!

Silly pictures with Daddy.

Cooper and Richard went to a play at church one night and Cooper picked out his own outfit (I thought he looked like Justin Bieber). I think this will be one of those pictures that he looks back on in about 20 years and says "Mom, why did you let me wear that!" But for the record he did look really cute and stylish!
